On our way!

After slacking off on packing for as long as I could, we tried to dive into some serious packing on Saturday. But it was slow going since Evan kept trying to "help." Fortunately, Grandpa and Grandma came and took him for the day on Sunday and we were able to get a lot done.

Evan is very excited. We gave him a small rolling carry-on bag and he has been filling it with his latest favorite things, even those flip-flops that he can't walk in very well yet. We all checked, double-checked, and triple-checked each other's passports to make sure they're current, trying to avoid repeating the excitement of last time. We are now waiting at the terminal. Evan is so excited to see all the huge airplanes, kept wanting me to take pictures of them. We're pretty early so right now the terminal is fairly empty. We're spread out on these comfy seats and plugged in our electronic devices. Evan finally settled down to play the iPhone after running around gawking at all the airplanes and buses and luggage trailers. He only managed to nap for 15 minutes on the way to the airport. Hopefully, this means long peaceful sleep on the plane. Ah-gong is having fun taking lots of pictures of him. I'm hoping to get them from him later on. Here's what I've got so far.

Playing dead. The bad guys got him.

Shenanigans at the airport! Have you ever seen this kind of carrying on?

Evan made a friend waiting at the terminal.

  1. You are already having a lot of fun. I wish I was there with you all. It is not easy to be so happy when waiting. You might be in Taiwan already when reading this. Did you enjoy your flight and did you sit together? Is it humid in Taiwan? Please keep us updated with your travels! :)
