Taiwan Day 8

It rained all day Sunday. And it was cold. They said the cold spell broke a 40-year record. Dad took us to the RT-Mart. It's sort of like a sup'd up Super Walmart. It had everything from electronics to household goods, clothing to groceries and ready-to-eat food. We weren't allowed to take pictures, unfortunately. We had fun looking at all the stuff, oohing and aahing over everything. We found a few little toys (Transformer) and a box of Pocky for Evan. They're all going into the little bribery "Cars" backpack we've got for him, along with KK's Cars Pez dispenser and LN's gummy candies. :o) Hubby's insisting on being the one to give it to him so he would like him better… hmmm… don't think that's fair.

Hubby felt a little under the weather when we got back and laid low for the rest of the day. Sis and I went out to get some comfort food (potato chips, crackers, Sprite) and some cold medication for him. I packed all kinds of meds except for cold meeds. Go figure. On the way back, the sidewalk was slippery and I fell on my butt. Ouch! :o( *Sigh* The length I go for my hubby...
