I'm in Taiwan! Hubby generously let me take this trip with two of my sisters and my dad while he stayed back to take care of Evan. It's a no husband, no kids trip. Wow! We get to feel single again. My one "official" mission was to visit St. Lucy's Center and being over a couple photo books that I had made for Evan for them and for his foster family. I also got some baby clothes, socks, blankets, and baby mobiles for them.
We joined a tour goup this time for the celebration of the national day. We got into Taipei a bit after midnight. We're staying at Park Taipei Hotel. It's Chinese just happens to be Mei Lun Hotel, which is my name! Hey, I didn't know I owned a hotel! It's a different "Lun" character, but very close. Since we got in so late, it didn't hit me till the next morning that we were actually here, especially since this trip was planned rather spontaneously.
The hotel has a nice breakfast spread, with both Eastern and Western style food. Not Hometown buffet or anything but it was pretty good. The first day of the tour is free for people to go visit relatives and do their own thing, so it was a good day to go down to Tainan.
I'm trying to blog from my iPad. I haven't really figured out how yet, but I'm publishing this right now. Bear with me.

OOO LA LA such nice hotel rooms, I hope you're all having a good time :)
