Brother and his family arrived late yesterday. We met them for breakfast this morning. Evan had his usual suspicious glare on when he met them, although maybe just slightly better because of their 3 kids. They let him take his time warming up. And he had a good time listening and watching everyone interact and such. Afterwards we walked through the market again. We stopped by the store to get some extra diapers. He wears this brand called Sumo, size XXL. No, I had never changed a butt this big before. I really really hope he can be potty trained quickly.
After playing in the hotel for a bit, we went over to my parents' place where they all were, playing with their DSs. Evan acted like they were old friends now and went up to them right away. The cousins were all very kind and nice to him, sharing their DSs and letting him push buttons. He tends to have the bad habit of wanting to throw things (time out #2 yesterday), so we kept a close eye on him. Pretty soon, it was time for brother and his family to leave and go down to Taichung for the day. Evan was puzzled why they all left and kept asking for them. We noticed that he likes to keep his "pack" together. Whenever someone leaves the area, he has to go after them and bring them back. ;o) We've also notice that he's not a very willing sleeper. We've had to use the method of tackle and hold on method to get him to nap or go down for the night. He would cry and fuss, sometime quite a bit. Yikes, where are my ear plugs. He gets into everything and anything. We have had our hands full so far keeping him in line. Hubby and I are exhausted! And it's only been what 3 or 4 days?!
