Christmas 2014

Big hello to family members who aren't with us for the holidays this year, Ah-gong, Ah-ma, and Aunt Jane (sister) in Taiwan, and Jackie in Australia! We miss you all!! Please take good care.

The kids started their two-week winter break. Then it’s one party after another, whirlwind of activities.

Party at Tae Kwon Do.

Kids (Evan, Emma, and Madeleine) teamed up to tackle Baba.

Two parties going on at the same time, one at sister’s house and one at ah-gong and ah-ma’s house.
Chinese food for Christmas Eve. Not exactly traditional, but still yummy!

Jarvan and Teemo

Birthday cake for Jackie, even though she’s all the way on the other side of the world in down-under Australia.
It’s ok, Jackie, we still had a birthday party for you.

The cousins celebrate Jackie’s birthday, ready to pounce on the beautiful cake (green tea chiffon cake).

The opening of presents, the kids’ favorite part! Next to hanging out with all the cousins.

(Emma took this picture)

Guess how many pieces of candy in the jars.

The winners! Congrats, Darcie and Raymond!

1997 babies—now 17 years old. How time flies…

Playing charades

Evan making himself comfortable on Andy gege.

Evan and Emma didn’t get to bed till about 11 pm, probably the latest bedtime ever. They still got up around 6:30 am to see what Santa has brought them. They didn’t find out till the day before whether they were on the nice list or naughty list. Santa sent them video messages, you see (www.portablenorthpole.com). They were right in the middle for the longest time. Santa wanted them to work on being nice to each other. He even sent over Patrick the Elf on the Shelf to keep an eye on them the last few months.

Yawning already

Best thing about Legos is they’ll get to work on them and I get to go back to bed for a little while.

Baba got some presents too, including a big sniper nerf gun. He’s planning to snipe the kids.

Didn’t Lee Harvey Oswald hold his rifle like this in a picture?!

Grandma and Grandpa’s house.

More presents!!!
