Summer Road Trip!!

We drove up to the Bay Area to visit “Airplane Ah-yi” at the beginning of the summer. It took about 8 hours, so the kids didn’t always look this happy.

Making bracelets and necklaces with auntie’s beads. They also followed instructions and  folded several flight-worthy paper airplanes. They (especially Evan) love folding paper airplanes. We have them in the living room, in my car, in the bedrooms, in the bathrooms...

Another cool playground at cousin Darcie and Raymond’s old elementary school.

Lawrence Hall of Science. The kids went on a hunt for bugs. We caught a grasshopper and some rollie pollies. They were returned to the wild at the end of the hunt, of course.

Emma and Evan scooping up worms and larvae, and letting beetles run all over their hands just for fun.

The kids had fun poking their faces in before we read the sign that said we weren’t supposed to do that. Oops!!!

This reminds me of Yoda.

Chuck E Cheese’s!!

Cousin Raymond set up the tent for the Evan and Emma to sleep in, and cousin Darcie decorated it. It was so fun and sooooo comfortable! They had a blast! Best part was they were out of mama and baba’s hair! Thank you!!

Oakland Zoo

The kids had fun pointing out the tiger’s butt...

and turtle’s poop…

Evan revisiting the corner he was put in 3 years ago.

We had so much fun! Thank you, Auntie!!!
