Uncle Mike came out to visit late January/early February. Evan had lots and lots of fun! This is at Medieval Times where we cheered on the Blue Knight. Unfortunately, he didn't make it very far in the tournament this time. Better luck next time.
For Chinese New Year, we got together with my side of the family for lunch in Diamond Bar. Afterwards, we went to a park where Ah-gong and Ah-ma passed out lucky money! Yay! Some of the cousins performed their talents for extra lucky money. Evan doesn't have much talent to perform yet, unless you count the "butt dance" but we don't want to encourage that. So he said 新年快樂(Happy New Year), 恭喜發財 (hope you prosper), and 紅包拿來 (give me red envelope) in Chinese.
Cousin Jaynie was prepared with props.
Hubby's birthday was in March. Grandpa and Grandma treated us to his favorite place, Benihana. His favorite thing there is banana tempura and ice-cream. Evan was riveted by the chef's tricks.
Happy Birthday, Baba!!!
Makenzie's birthday at The Little Gym.
Typical boy. Loves to make mess and gross people out. Hope he outgrows it.
Sela's birthday at Bounce U.
Wind tunnel. $2.00 for a couple minutes. What won't they think of next to earn money off kids (i.e., their parents)? I didn't shell out the money. I would get scolded by my frugal mother. We just got a free ride. ;o)
These slides are steep and FAST!! Too much for my vertigo.
All pooped out.
wow the chinese new year looks like so much fun, wish we could've been there :)
