Easter egg hunt at Miles Square Park in Fountain Valley. Egg hunt, games, crafts, bounce houses, pancake breakfast! Oh my!! We got there too late. It was way too crowded. And Evan ended up being the last one in line for the egg hunt.
He seemed a bit lost at first then slowly got into it. There was an over-achieving mom who brought her own eggs and was throwing them into the hunt area for her daughter to pick up. Not a bad idea.
Coloring eggs.
The Easter Bunny left eggs for Evan at Grandpa/Grandma house. Some of the eggs had numbers in them that he had to match with a present on the little table. Evan was surprised at first that the Easter Bunny brings presents too since he doesn't have a sleigh or reindeer to help. We had to explain that the Easter Bunny works alone so the presents are a little smaller. Actually, not that small. Evan got books, toys, clothes, and treats! Btw… Evan loves to dress up "fancy."
He's good with the Easter Bunny this year. It didn't try to steal his stickers.
