Skype

We had a Skype session with Mr. Evan on 12/13/10. We had written down a few questions that we wanted to ask. Turned out they were not great questions. Like we wanted to know what he liked to eat. Well, his foster mom said he likes to eat EVERYTHING.  I should have asked, even fruits and veggies? We asked what his clothing size was. Well, it's a different sizing system in Taiwan so knowing he is "size 9" is really not all that helpful for us here. But overall it was good to see him "live" and in action. He even gave us a glimpse of what one of his meltdowns might look like. Oh boy. He is really a bit too young to know what's going on. He was more interested in playing with the toys around him than with us in the monitor. At the time, we were busy trying to show him around his new room and his new toys that I wasn't really sure how successful we were at holding his attention. But watching the session again (we were able to record it), it actually went better than I had thought. Afterwards I thought of questions that we should have asked. Hopefully, we could get another Skype session with him soon.
